Merriam Turkey Hunting

Arguably the most handsome of the turkey subspecies, the Merriam is a bird of the West. Kessler Canyon has one of the largest populations of Merriam turkey in the area and hunting is available in the spring and fall. Fall turkey hunts offer the capability to harvest either sex and your choice of firearm. Spring hunts are for bearded turkeys only with a shotgun or bow and arrow.
